WELCOME TO THE NOTE NAMING ACTIVITY PAGE!

This page is dedicated to helping you learn the names of notes when reading music on a staff! Here you will be challenged to use the 2 strategies (shown below) to identify note names. This page has 2 levels for the exercise. Level 1 is the beginner level, and level 2 is the advanced level.

Use this "Cheat Sheet" to help you answer the questions in each exercise:

                                  "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge"

                                 "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge"

                                         "FACE goes on the SPACE"

                                        "FACE goes on the SPACE"

LEVEL 1

This exercise will test your knowledge of all note names that land on the staff. Each question in this exercise will have a note that lands somewhere within the 2 strategies shown above. This level is broken into 3 parts, with 15 questions in each part. Once you complete one part, your progress will be saved. If you quit before completing a part, you will lose all of your progress for that part, but previously completed parts will still be saved.

If you have any questions or problems, email Mr. Erdoğan.

LEVEL 2

This exercise will test your knowledge of note names outside of the normal note range on a staff. You will have to use the 2 strategies listed above figure out the notes. This level is broken into 5 parts, with 10 questions in each part. Once you complete one part, your progress will be saved. If you quit before completing a part, you will lose all of your progress for that part, but previously completed parts will still be saved.

If you have any questions or problems, email Mr. Erdoğan.
